Born in England in 1967, and graduated from Southampton University with a BA Hon’s Degree in Photography in 1990. In 1993 I worked for Associated Press as a photographer covering the civil war in the former Yugoslav republics of Bosnia and Croatia. A period of travel and photography ensued with periods of work in both Central and South America with work published in The Guardian, Independent and Observer. The Photographers’ Gallery and Terrance Conrans ‘Mezzo’ have hosted exhibitions on work taken from around the world and I am currently photographing mental health issues in Ghana.
